***The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for creating all graphic and visual communications, and collaborate with the communications and philanthropy team to promote the KidWorks brand and amplify our messaging. We are seeking an innovative team member who is passionate about telling the KidWorks story through diverse mediums, including written content, visuals, videos, and social media.


POSITION ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual & Graphic Content Creation

  • Design and produce compelling visual content for print and digital platforms, including social media graphics, infographics, donor updates audience specific marketing collateral, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Philanthropy Team to develop creative concepts and campaigns that align with organizational goals and target KidWorks unique donor and community audiences.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Marketing and Communications Manager to develop a comprehensive, audience specific communications strategy.
  • Support the organization's visual brand identity, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all materials and platforms.
  • Develop a video storytelling strategy, and assist with photo and video shoots to capture compelling visual assets for marketing and event purposes.
  • Work closely with internal departments to gather content for marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with messaging goals.
  • Assist with the management of social media accounts and digital marketing campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and creative agencies as needed to produce highquality marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Produce videos and graphics for the KidWorks website.
  • Provide inhouse photography, live stream, and videography support, as required.
  • Provide tech and AV support for KidWorks events.

Support for major donor and community events:

  • Maintain and update KidWorks website, fundraising pages, and sponsorship brochures for events and fundraisers.
  • Provide support for contracted event photographers and videographers.
  • Participate in strategic post event donor/community outreach and communications.

Data Management

  • Ensure and meet all visual and graphic communication calendar deadlines.
  • Implement and maintain a media cataloging process.

Special Projects

  • Provide visual and graphic communications support for all KidWorks leadership and committee meetings.
  • Assist with the enhancements and updates to KidWorks website.
  • Collaborate on marketing, development, and programmatic initiatives as needed.
  • Provide as needed support for onsite donor visits, group volunteer events, and engagement activities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the job successfully.


Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from fouryear college or university
  • Two to four years' experience working in the field of communications, marketing, and/or media.

Special Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Passion for KidWorks mission and ability to articulate this passion to others
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, organization, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
  • Proficiency in video production/storytelling and photography
  • Proficiency in basic web design/editing software such as Squarespace or WordPress
  • Experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Basic knowledge using virtual community platforms
  • 3+ years of related work experience preferred (presentation skills, outreach, etc.)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Valid drivers' license and a reliable transportation to and from work
  • Completed Covid19 vaccination series
