Facilitate effective systems and relationships for community school's implementation
:


  • Assist in the development of clear priorities, goals and objectives for the school, in alignment with findings from schoolwide needs and assets surveys.
  • Ensure stakeholder voices are captured in the school's surveys and decisionmaking processes.
  • Align implementation with school's' vision, mission and values.
  • Work with families, community partners, and school staff in developing programs that address outofschool barriers to learning and engagement, specifically mental health, wellness, basic needs, and socialemotional learning.
  • Work collaboratively with governing bodies and leadership teams (e.g. Instructional Leadership Team (ILT), SSC, ELAC, PBIS, MTSS) to support a comprehensive implementation plan that also elevates strong classroom instruction.
  • Facilitate effective teamwork and collaboration among the staff, teachers, students, and families.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication and updates on school platforms, including resource directories.

Leverage and coordinate holistic resources, assets, and systems:


  • Assist in developing infrastructures for the smooth delivery of holistic services to students, parents and community members that are aligned with the community's unique needs and assets.
  • Assemble and facilitate support and/or leadership teams composed of stakeholders to identify unique needs and priorities of the school community and create neighborhood partnerships to meet identified student needs.
  • Develop a resource plan and partnership database for the school.
  • Identify, organize, coordinate existing and/or new structures and leverage partnerships and resources to produce streamlined, integrated, and multitiered levels of student and family supports, including health, wellness, basic needs, leadership development, youth empowerment, financial literacy, and more.
  • Enhance opportunities for student, family, and community engagement and leadership.
  • Ensure expanding learning opportunities are aligned with needs and assets of the school, and delivered in partnership with school staff and communitybased partners.

Continuous improvement/assessment and employ data review and analysis:


  • Participate in the collection and input of evaluation data used to measure ongoing program effectiveness of service providers and progress toward the school's goals.
  • Facilitate data analysis of student achievement and participate in preparation of goals and implementation of action plans at each school.
  • Maintain detailed and comprehensive documentation of all community school's related programming and implementation.
  • Oversee data reporting, collection, and analysis for assigned school and project.
  • Codevelop strategies to ensure effective tracking of program outcomes, indicators, and metrics that influence ongoing evaluation, assessment, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure deliverables for the school are being met.
  • Assist collaborative leadership teams in the development of datainformed decisionmaking with regard to school climate, student learning, and family engagement.

LAEP Responsibilities

  • Participate in LAEP activities that support the culture and successes of LAEP.
  • Work as part of the LAEP Transform Schools team based at a partner high school, focused on the successful development of children and their articulation into high school and college.
  • Plan and develop annual work plans that prioritize needs, strategies and activities for the year.
  • Participate in project team meetings and other meetings with project staff and key partners to collaborate and review progress.
  • Participate in LAEP project workgroups, department meetings and trainings, and allstaff development meetings and activities.
  • Process documentation as required for administrative procedures, including invoices, timesheets, evaluation materials and tracking logs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • 2 years minimum experience in working with programs that support children's academic success through partnership development, student and parent engagement, and community/school collaboration.
  • 2 years minimum schoolbased experience, specifically within a K12 school district.
  • 2 years minimum experience mobilizing groups, building partnerships with local organizations, and leveraging resources within a community.
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding, communication, and organizational skills; strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration among diverse teachers and staff members.
  • Demonstrated success in working with students and families of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain cooperative and effective professional relationships, build trust in a limited ti
