    Description


    As a Case Manager on the eDiscovery & Information Governance Team, you will partner with internal legal teams, cross-functional partners across the Company, vendor partners, technical staff, IT support teams, and outside counsel.

    As part of a team of eDiscovery attorneys, professionals, data scientists, and eDiscovery forensic technical operations colleagues, you will focus on discovery efforts in all phases of the EDRM.

    This position plays a key role and is responsible for partnering with inhouse and outside counsel in all phases of litigation and regulatory matters, investigations, and other matters requiring the preservation, identification, collection, processing, and production of data.

    Case Manager, eDiscovery & Information Governance ResponsibilitiesThis is a highly collaborative and cross-functional roleConduct various document searches and factual researchPartner with internal teams during the pre-claim investigation and early case assessment phases of active matters as well as through the entire life cycle of a casePartner with internal and outside legal teams to manage matters throughout the lifecyclePartner with internal teams to drive process improvements and efficiencyPrepare and facilitate signature and delivery of legal documentsAct as liaison among various internal departments as well as with outside vendors and outside counselUse litigation eDiscovery applications to preserve, search, sort, and organize large amounts of electronic dataAssist with the development of multi-disciplinary structures, policies, procedures, processes and controls implemented to manage information at an enterprise levelCreate and maintain internal case databasesMaintain appropriate chain of custody and other documentation throughout the lifecycle of matters in accordance with accepted protocolsProcess and triage collected company data and maintain internal data repositoriesExercise effective cost control in managing case work and team initiativesMinimum Qualifications8+ years litigation experience in a corporate, law firm, government, or eDiscovery vendor environmentBA/BS degreeExperience with eDiscovery review platforms (Relativity)Organizational and critical thinking experienceProven communication skillsExperience managing confidential informationPreferred QualificationsParalegal certificate or project manager certification/experienceMust be team oriented, articulate, proactive and calm under pressureWorking knowledge of the Information Governance Reference Model (IGRM) and eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM)Must manage confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity
