    As a Customer Support Specialist, your everyday work will help ensure people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities receive vital services so they may live their best lives.

    You will work in a collegial and professional office with a team of caring and compassionate health and human service professionals.

    This role will enable you to gain valuable health and human services knowledge and experience.

    You will enjoy a dynamic job description which will include these responsibilities:

    Engaging in productive phone conversations with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as their families and other stakeholdersAnswering customer questions and addressing concernsConveying information about available health and human services, the process for applying for these services, as well as the wait period between applying for and receiving servicesMemorializing important details from phone conversationsCommunicating with an array of internal and external stakeholdersActively participating in training activitiesYou have the option to work a compressed workweek with four 10-hour days or a traditional five day workweek with 8-hour days.

    As a Customer Support Specialist and valued employee of Liberty Healthcare you can expect:
    $37,000 to $45,000 annually (depending on experience)$500 new hire sign on bonus ($250 paid at 90 days and $250 paid at 180 days)30 days of paid time off each year for vacation, holidays, sick and personal leaveHealth, dental, vision, disability and life insuranceHealth savings account, 401k plan and other perksBenefits plan details may be found at position is based on-site at Liberty Healthcares office located at 8850 Emerald Street in Boise, nearby the Boise Towne Square Mall.

    Positive and optimistic attitudeStrong work ethic and a genuine desire to help othersOutstanding verbal communication and customer service skillsPatience, empathy and great active listening skillsComputer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and OutlookExperience working in a customer service, call center, or healthcare or human service role is a plus - as is professional or personal experience supporting people who have disabilities.
