    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an IT Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with new and existing clients in the IT industry. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing their needs, and maximizing their engagement with our organization's products and services. The ideal candidate is a proactive and customer-oriented professional with a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with assigned client accounts, serving as their primary point of contact for all IT-related matters
    • Client Engagement: Understand clients' business objectives, IT strategies, and challenges to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and providing tailored solutions
    • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing client inquiries, concerns, and issues, and providing effective solutions
    • Needs Assessment: Conduct regular assessments of clients' IT requirements, aligning them with appropriate products, services, and solutions offered by our organization
    • Account Growth: Collaborate with the sales team to develop account growth strategies, including upselling and cross-selling initiatives, to achieve revenue targets
    • Solution Presentation: Deliver persuasive presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our products and services
    • Contract Renewal: Collaborate with the contracts team to manage the renewal process for client contracts, ensuring timely renewals and favorable terms
    • Relationship Expansion: Identify opportunities for expanding business relationships within existing client accounts and their mutual contacts to uncover additional IT needs

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing setting
    • Solid technical background and understanding of IT products, services, and solutions
    • Experience selling consulting/professional services a plus
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
    • Ability to analyze complex customer requirements and propose appropriate IT solutions
    • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Proactive attitude with a passion for staying updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities, assess risks, and develop effective strategies
    • Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office suite
    • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
