    Community Relations Specialist

    -Contract length: 8 months (potential to extend/convert)

    -Location: Marlborough, MA (Hybrid - onsite 2x/week)

    -Pay rate: $37/hr

    -Hours: M-F, Fulltime

    *Must reside in a commutable distance*

    Our client, a large and growing retail and ecommerce company is seeking a Community Relations Specialist to join their team. This role will involve reviewing and tracking grant nominations and applications, auditing to ensure accuracy, and data reports and tracking.

    Responsibilities:


    • Completes Community Relations grant funding requests as well as the Foundation response to all submitted Brand funding inquiries


    • Supports the execution of other grant programs as needed


    • Reviews and vets nonprofit organizations' grant applications to validate eligibility for funding


    • Serves as a resource for database questions from external partners, including nonprofit grantees and applicants, and is the point of contact for external troubleshooting


    • Supports the Brand Team in tracking and monitoring grant budgets

    Requirements:


    • Ability to navigate systems and maintain database/reporting


    • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across several Teams and projects


    • Self-reliant and self-motived, with the ability to work autonomously to achieve results


    • Great teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Minimum Job Skills required to perform this job:


    • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills


    • Excellent attention to detail


    • Experience with database management and/or data analytics


    • Experience working in highly collaborative setting with multiple levels of stakeholders


    • Ability to be flexible and navigate multiple processes and workstreams at the same time


    • Strong customer relations skills


    • Decision-making and problem-solving skills


    • Proficient with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

    A bonus:


    • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector


    • Experience with GIFTS, IGam preferred
