    Description

    My client is seeking a Community Relations Specialist for a 9-12 month temporary contract with the potential to extend or go direct hire. They are looking for someone with Grant and community relations experience. This position is hybrid 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

    Responsibility:

    • Completes Community Relations Field & DC grant funding requests as well as the Foundation response to all submitted Brand funding inquiries
    • Supports the execution of other grant programs as needed (i.e. Associate Nominated Grants program and Opportunistic grants program)
    • Reviews and vets nonprofit organizations' grant applications to validate eligibility for funding under Client's Foundation Guidelines
    • Serves as a resource for database questions from external partners, including nonprofit grantees and applicants, and is the point of contact for external troubleshooting
    • Supports the Brand Team in tracking and monitoring grant budgets

    Requirements:

    • Ability to navigate systems and maintain database/reporting
    • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across several Teams and projects
    • Self-reliant and self-motived, with the ability to work autonomously to achieve results
    • Great teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector
    • Experience with GIFTS, IGam preferred
