    Description

    Our Metrowest client is looking for a Community Relations Specialist with 4+ years' experience for an immediate long term contract; this role is onsite two days a week. We're looking for 4+ years' database and admin experience and grant and community relations experience is a huge place as well as a background working in nonprofits or higher education.

    Responsibilities:


    • Complete Community Relations Field & DC grant funding requests as well as the Foundation response to all submitted Brand funding inquiries


    • Support the execution of other grant programs as needed


    • Review and vet nonprofit organizations' grant applications to validate eligibility for funding under company guidelines


    • Serve as a resource for database questions from external partners, including nonprofit grantees and applicants, and is the point of contact for external troubleshooting


    • Support the Brand Team in tracking and monitoring grant budgets


    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:


    • Ability to navigate systems and maintain database/reporting


    • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across several Teams and projects


    • Self-reliant and self-motived, with the ability to work autonomously to achieve results


    • Great teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Minimum Job Skills required to perform this job:


    • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills


    • Excellent attention to detail


    • Experience with database management and/or data analytics


    • Experience working in highly collaborative setting with multiple levels of stakeholders


    • Ability to be flexible and navigate multiple processes and workstreams at the same time


    • Strong customer relations skills


    • Decision-making and problem-solving skills


    • Proficient with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint


    • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector


    • Experience with GIFTS, IGam preferred
