    HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION RISK MANAGER
    WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

    Reporting to the HR Shared Ser vices Manager, this position is responsible for the development, recommendation, implementation, tracking and reporting of City National Bank's Human Resources risk management and compliance programs to ensure limited risk exposure

    . Leads and executes HR compliance work and annual reporting requirements. Work with the 1LOD Business Control Office (BCO) as HR's main point of contact . The Division Risk Manager is also responsible for the continued maturation and improvement of the risk management practices and execution of these practices within Human Resources.
    What you will do

    Work collaboratively within the division and with second line of defense teams to coordinate risk management and measurement activity.
    Act as subject matter expert for the risk and compliance activities performed in the division.
    Oversee the bank's affirmative action program.
    Prepare and execute required annual reporting to include EEO1, California Pay Data reporting, VETs4212 and OFCCP AAP certification.
    Oversee the bank's SAFE Act administration program.
    Work with 1LOD BCO group to execute risk assessment programs (e.g. Risk Control Self Assessments, Business Impact Assessments, Vendor Risk Assessments, New Applications) to identify and quantify the risks and their associated controls in the division.

    Create and maintain a library of HR risks and controls and act as point of contact for control entry into the bank's system of record.

    Collaborate with HR process owners to identify and document KRIs.

    Coordinate the completion of risk mitigating actions and providing status updates of open/closed issues to senior management and second line risk management functions.

    Act as point of contact for all HR audits to include SOX/FDICIA and targeted audits conducted by the internal audit team
    Ensures appropriate colleagues in division are trained on the applicable risk management practices, reporting, etc.
    Act as point of contact for HR vendor management. Work with HR Stakeholders on all required VMO deliverables and escalate issues as appropriate
    Must-Have*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
    Minimum 5 years of HR compliance experience, with at least 3 years of experience in the financial services sector
    Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management or compliance in a banking or lending environment
    Minimum 3 years experience in a Project Management or leadership role
    Skills and Knowledge
    Prefer 7+ years in the financial services industry
    Knowledge of HR risk management and compliance practices
    Experience managing affirmative action programs and annual reporting
    Sound knowledge of project management practices
    Business maturity level and skill/judgment to be able to deal effectively with leadership team members within the Division as well as enterprise wide as required
    Effective presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills
    Ability to impact and influence all levels in the organization
    Solid problem solving, analytical (including qualitative analysis), research, and quantitative skills
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite, SharePoint
    Compensation

    Starting base salary:
    $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
