    Our client in Sanborn, NY is actively seeking a skilled Receiving/Inventory Control Specialist to join their team. There are both 1st and 2nd shift positions available.

    This is an onsite temp to direct opportunity that will offer outstanding benefits upon conversion

    Hourly based on experience: Up to $18/hr

    Purpose of the job: To ensure materials are handled both physically and in accordance with company business
    standards. Work under supervision and according to instructions from the team leads to meet daily warehouse/manufacturing requirements.

    Key duties:
    • Picking orders for inter-company and third-party customers
    • Picking manufacturing orders and staging them at stations
    • Receiving freight from inter-company and third-party suppliers
    • Put away and handling of received material
    • Packaging of parts for kitting cell building stock or third-party kits
    • Following all safety requirements from the company report any safety concerns.
    • Following applicable internal procedures and work instructions
    • Other duties as requested
    Skills:
    • Good communication skills with co-workers
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Manual handling lifting and handling of materials/products both manually and using material handling equipment
    • Ability to material handling equipment wave, pallet jack, etc
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Mapics)
    Experience Required:
    • Previous Warehouse experience
    • Basic Computer Skills
    • High School Diploma/Equivalency
