    Account Manager

    (Nashville, TN Area)

    Our client is in the Commercial Equipment Leasing business specializing in motor carrier and rail industry-related intermodal equipment. They are in an aggressive growth pattern, are well funded and profitable. They are looking for key people to help in this growth and reap the benefits. We would like to discuss this opportunity with you if you have solid sales experience in any of the following areas:

    • trailer, or chassis leasing
    • or vendor selling to transportation companies
    • Carrier or 3PL sales

    This is a key position in the organization. This person will be responsible for the sales performance of this branch location including overseeing the Sales and Marketing effort, communicating with Operations Management on site and communication with the corporate offices.

    They are seeking a dynamic, ambitious Sales professional for the Nashville, TN market.

    The Account Manager serves as local commercial leaders for an assigned geographic territory. In the role of Account Manager, your primary focus is business development and expanding the company brand, while maintaining regular and consistent business relationships with all current customers within this territory.

    Your duties will include:

    • In territory cold calls, canvassing, networking, telephone sales and other ongoing outreach tactics
    • Conducting strategic planned meetings to identify opportunities.
    • Working collaboratively with branch team members to ensure fulfillment.
    • Timely and accurate reporting in the CRM along with monthly and quarterly reporting functions.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in transportation
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in business development
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrate a positive and professional image.
    • Must be comfortable in speaking with customers face to face.
    • Flexible and adaptable to the changing workflow and needs of the business.
    • Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude.
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
    • Proven and extensive experience with new business development.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
