    Description

    Our client is in need of a Controller to manage financial controls and accounting activities at their distinguished manufacturing plant in TN. This full-time role presents a great opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the organization's financial success.

    Position Summary:

    As the Controller, your main responsibilities include overseeing plant operations, preparing reports to measure performance, managing financial and capital budgets, and implementing programs to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and present financial information for internal and external parties.
    • Implement controls and reconcile general ledger accounts following GAAP and Company policies.
    • Manage general accounting functions, financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost estimating projects.
    • Collaborate with managers to identify efficiency opportunities and make enhancement recommendations.
    • Supervise local financial reporting systems and oversee financial statement audits.
    • Take on managerial duties such as interviewing, hiring, coaching, and employee development.
    • Support HQ Finance/Accounting initiatives as required.

    Requirements/Skills/Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a must.
    • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities are essential.
    • Experience in a large manufacturing plant setting is required.
    • Prior leadership experience in an accounting department is highly valued.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
