    Description

    America's Auto Auction (AAA) is a full-service used-vehicle auction services provider that facilitates the wholesale remarketing of used vehicles for B2B customers, delivering a critical liquidity function to enable the used car sales ecosystem. AAA facilitates the selling and buying of used vehicles at physical auction sites across 19 states as well as on digital platforms.     The Customer Service Clerk is responsible for maintaining good working relationships between the local auction and its' dealers. The Customer Service Clerk exhibits superior customer service at all times.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
    2. Always exhibit 'hands on' and direct approach with customers.
    3. Answer incoming phone calls and direct accordingly.
    4. Help customers check out at front counter.
    5. Call customers to collect payment information
    6. File and scan documents into internal computer systems.
    7. Respond to all customer questions, inquiries, and requests.
    8. Setup new, and maintain existing records.
    9. Maintain inventory of printed forms and supplies to include but not limited to the following:
    10. Block tickets
    11. Bills of Sale
    12. Continuous feed paper
    13. Courtesy cards
    14. Ensure printers are set-up and in good working condition prior to sale.
    15. Assist block clerks with issues.
    16. Responsible for any off block sales, re-runs, price changes or duties involved with a unit involved in sale.
    17. Provide the best "Customer Service" possible to all dealers.
    18. Ensure transportation is complete.
    19. Responsible for a clean, working area.
    20. Assist dealer with locating units when necessary.
    21. Apply vehicle charges as requested by management.
    22. Familiarize self and assist with all other positions in office.
    23. Ensure hands on and direct approach with customers.
    24. Identify problems and recommend and implement solutions as necessary.
    25. Work well independently as well as a team player.
    26. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
    27. Assist with any and all other duties in front office.
    Requirements
    • Education: High School Diploma minimum
    • Experience: Previous office experience
    • Skills: Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Customer service orientated. Computer proficient. Must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently. Show great time management skills.
    • Environment: The environment of the Customer Service Clerk involves working in the office at a desk for extended periods. Those working in this position are subject to repeated hours performing clerical duties while sitting at a desk.
