Accounts Payable Clerk
The Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk at Next Level Medical is responsible for processing and managing the organization's accounts payable transactions.
Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records that reflect our core values of Service-Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness
- Process and record accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
- Assist in the monthend closing process and generate related financial reports
- Maintain vendor files, ensuring proper documentation and organization
- Support the Accounting Manager and other team members with various projects and tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 13 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
FLSA Status:
This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
