    Description

    The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome for several small to medium projects or one extensive project. The position directs and supervises contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed in a profitable, safe, and timely manner while providing the highest quality.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Prepare project estimates and scope, and present proposals to clients.
    • Interact with vendors to secure the best project pricing.
    • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policies. Put these in clear, concise work statements for the field.
    • Plan and organize a project.
    • Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
    • Maintained liaison with prime client and A/E to facilitate construction activities.
    • Represent company/project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc.
    • Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and maintain a good relationship with the client.
    • The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, those listed above and other duties that may be assigned.
