Position Description

PE-I is the entry level estimator role.
The PE-I will be engaged in the entire estimating process with the responsibility of learning each step of the Chamberlin process.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions and association involvement.
As the PE-I develops a base knowledge they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship and overall project engagement from start to finish.

Position Requirements

Experience:

If applicant does not have a four-year degree, they must have a minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.

Skills:
Microsoft office, English speaking, bilingual preferred

Abilities/Requirements:

Ability to read and understand construction documents
Familiarity with general construction items
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Problem solving and dispute resolution skills
Strong work ethic/selfstarter
Negotiation and relationship building skills (sales ability)
Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)

Education Required:

Four-year college degree or 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.

$50, $70,000.00 per year
