- PE-I is the entry level estimator role.
- The PE-I will be engaged in the entire estimating process with the responsibility of learning each step of the Chamberlin process.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions and association involvement.
- As the PE-I develops a base knowledge they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship and overall project engagement from start to finish.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Familiarity with general construction items
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Problem solving and dispute resolution skills
- Strong work ethic/self-starter
- Negotiation and relationship building skills (sales ability)
- Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)
