Your role

This role is responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services through gathering of business requirements, analyzing processes and translating /documenting information into technical requirements in effort to deliver technological solutions for business needs.

Additionally, this role will provide troubleshooting for system business issues to determine if it is a process or technical item.

This role will be based in Springfield, MO with a hybrid work schedule and will travel less than 20 percent to some of our manufacturing sites as needed.

Liaison between the IT department and the business by working closely with the various areas to design technology solutions.
Detailed understanding business needs and operational processes.
Enhancing the quality of IT products and service through gathering and documenting business requirements effectively
Utilizing IT data for business insights.
Provide support and input to other IT areas when defining technological solutions to business requirements.
Producing reports on application development and implementation.
Testing and validating IT solutions.
Training business users on new systems or functionality in existing systems
Troubleshoot issues to determine if it is a process or technical issue
Project manage specific deliverables or small projects as needed

About you
Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or related field or 5 years relevant experience.
2+ years in a technology-driven role.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Analytical mindset.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Project management experience a plus
