Job Summary:

This position is located in Asset Revenue Cycle Services (ARCS).

The main function of 3rd Party Billing is to recover the operational costs incurred by PSE&G and 3rd party contractors from primarily large customers and body politic agencies for new installations and relocations of Electric, Gas and/or Transmission infrastructure assets.

Serving as a central hub for business operations, this position manages multi-project status analysis, reporting, and data reconciliations for the group, requiring involvement in every aspect of the project lifecycle, including project agreement, change order management, cost verification, billing, and collection.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical and financial expertise and support to Third Party relocation project billings, collections, and reconciliation.
  • Utilize SAP, MS Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, or other relevant systems as needed to generate data, ad hoc reports, analysis, and recommendations which foster accurate, efficient, and effective business operations.
  • Manage and update financial data in database.
  • Assess potential value of database enhancements for improved prioritization according to business needs.
  • Engage in special projects such as Mutual Aid, Cogen plants, Solar projects, and PJM in support of department objectives.
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives, documenting policies, procedures, and work instructions as necessary.
  • Maintain proficiency in PSEG Standards for Business Controls and Cybersecurity requirements, ensuring thorough adherence of internal business controls.

Job Specific Qualifications:


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, 5 years of related experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP and MS Access.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and the financial module of SAP.
  • Knowledge of Customer Operations, distribution and transmission operations processes and procedures as well as knowledge of administrative and accounting procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, analytical capability, strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently; prioritize work; meet deadlines and targets.

Desired:

  • MBA or advanced management courses.
  • Experience with scorecard matrix and financial reporting and analysis.
