    KC&E provides tours, experiences, camps, and international trips on and off the bike. Founded in 2015, KC&E has evolved to operate its tour and travel services at and its bike camps and clinics at Located in Burke, VT and Litchfield County, CT.

    Job Description: Kingdom Trails Office Manager
    KC&E has been providing mountain bike camps and clinics throughout New England for nearly a decade. We offer camps for young riders aged and clinics and private instruction for riders of all ages. Our programs are renowned for their safe, fun, and inclusive approach to teaching mountain biking/cycling.

    As the Kingdom Trails Office Manager, your primary responsibility will be to operate the KC&E Kingdom Trails office located at 2074 Darling Hill Rd, Lyndonville, VT during the summer season. Responsibilities will include providing service and interacting with customers, communicating with program staff and participants, scheduling staff based on program needs, preparing weekly payroll, monitoring phone and email communications, providing updates to management, and other day-to-day support initiatives for KC&E camp and guide staff.

    Our team members are integral to the success of our programs, and we value their commitment to maintaining the high standards of execution and professionalism that define KC&E's standard of excellence.

    Prerequisites for applicants:
    • Customer Service experience
    • Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • CPR/First Aid certification.
    • Completion of online and local in-person training.
    Time commitment:
    • January - May: as available
    • June: 6/15/24 (11:30am - 4pm), 6/22/24 & 6/23/24 (8:30am - 4:30pm), 6/24/24 - 6/28/24 (8:30am - 1:30pm)
    • July: 20+ hours per week
    • August: hours per week
    • September - October: as available
    Additional role requirements:
    • Monitoring of email (and as necessary)
    • Monitoring and responding to Grasshopper for phone calls/texts
    • Monitoring Slack
    • Have a baseline familiarity with all KC&E programs and be an expert on all things happening at Kingdom Trails
    • Help with reconciling each week's payroll for guides and or camp staff
    • Bi-monthly check-in meetings with owners and operation team, weekly during July
    • Ensuring all KT staff has what they need in order to execute their job successfully
    • On going problem solving
    • Navigating upset parents and/or clients
    • Coordination of Women's Weekend and other skill clinics
    • Coordination of day tours
    • Assisting in coordinating KT kids camps
    • Ensuring all KT programs are coordinated
    • Office organization
    • Oversight of all things at KT
    • Monthly sit down with Guides to go through availability then to put into the calendar, get communications preferences etc.
    • Miscellaneous projects and tasks; being a small company we all wear multiple hats and are expected to assist with duties outside of our core roles from time to time, embodying teamwork

    Job Type: Part-time

    Schedule:
    • Typical schedule during peak season is Monday through Friday to support our kids camps, but availability on weekends for key clinics/events or training is expected
    Experience:
    • Office Management (or related scope of responsibility): 3+ years (Preferred)
    • Customer Service: 3+ years (Preferred)
    • Knowledgeable about the local trail system (Preferred)
    License/Certification:
    • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
    • CPR Certification (Preferred)
