- Lead and develop a high performing team including direct reports and indirect teammates located in the Business Services Center
- Functional expert of complex billing processes and interfaces for multiple businesses and distribution channels including defining process flows, data dependencies, and system requirements to meet program and customer expectations
- Direct contact for highly complex strategic accounts while expertise on customer requirements and technical capabilities
- Provide customer support and dispute resolution on billing inquiries with robust customer friendly solutions
- Deliver proactive communication to business, functional leaders, and customers relevant to unexpected billing results
- Define and ensure billing process are compliant with regulatory and internal controls
- Ensure alignment of team goals with business, finance and departmental objectives
- Identify initiatives related to standardization, migrations, process improvements, integration, automation, and controls while working with support team on an implementation strategy
- Perform complex ad hoc reporting required to inform and educate others to properly evaluate and resolve program billing issues
- Collaborate with business partners including sales, marketing, and information technology to identify and remediate process inefficiencies and resolution of undesired results
- Revenue Cycle Billing experience
- Internal control system and governance experience
- Finance/Accounting Background
- Complex billing experience - Large company experience (over $700M in revenue annually)
- Ability to lead and inspire team while defining and achieving service level agreements
- Thorough understanding of entire order to cash process, technical dependencies, and related financial impacts
- Proactive communication required to manage expectations and effectively deliver results
- Adaptable to changing demands and customer requirements with repeatable processes

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Billing Manager for a direct hire/permanent roe in Nashville, TN. This will be a hybrid role where 3 days per week you will work in the office/onsite in Nashville and 2 days per week can work remotely.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategy and controls for the billing processes of multiple customer groups and distribution channels. This role leads cross functional projects and related continuous improvement initiatives in multiple technical environments including dependencies on complex system interfaces. The Senior Billing Manager establishes plans and objectives for the billing services function, directs and develops staff. This includes establishing KPIs and service agreements with our delivery center in Costa Rica to meeting departmental and business goals and objectives. This individual will be empowered to identify and implement automated solutions where advantageous to our group and function.
Primary duties:
This direct hire/permanent role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week onsite/ in the office in Nashville, TN and 2 days per week remote. This role will pay between $120,000 - $140,000 per year plus a 15 % bonus along with a comprehensive suite of benefits. Relocation assistance is available.
