- Prepares regular company financial statements, metrics and special reports both timely and accurately
- Works with the Controller and staff to ensure all accounting and financial reporting activities are completed on an accurate and timely basis
- Develops and maintains key financial models
- Develops and implements accounting policies, procedures and systems to ensure company financial information is fairly stated
- Develops the annual forecast for each division and monitors the forecast against actual revenues and expenditures on an ongoing basis
- Plan for cash spend
- Assists external auditors as required
- Strong communication skills and experience providing summary reports of complex financial information
- Willingness and interest to explore and learn new technologies for efficient and effective data management
- Ability to work well under pressure, maintain confidentiality and work with diplomacy and tact required
- Performs other related duties as required
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- 3-5 years in managing finance, billing and compliance
- MLS(ASCP) or MT(ASCP) certification is required
- Tennessee MT license is preferred

A large and prestigious healthcare system located in the heart of beautiful Nashville seeks a Manager of Lab Billing and Compliance to work the day shift at their busy and high volume level one trauma hospital. Must have experience and certification as a medical laboratory scientist.
Salary Range: $80,000-120,000
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the laboratory, including implementation of accounting policies, systems, and procedures in order to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
