    Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts in the HCM software market. This role requires a strong understanding of human resources processes and challenges, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our HCM software solutions to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on selling software products or services to HR professionals.'

    **Please note, this position can be worked remotely but must be based in San Diego, Los Angeles or Orange County, California. Profiles not located in these areas cannot be considered**

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals for HCM software solutions.
    • Identify and qualify leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building with HR professionals, C-level executives, and decision-makers.
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to demonstrate the benefits and ROI of our HCM software to prospective clients.
    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to generate qualified leads and support sales initiatives through targeted campaigns, events, and content.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant to understand their business needs and provide tailored HCM software solutions.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including negotiation, contract review, and implementation planning.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular pipeline updates to management, leveraging CRM tools to track sales activities and performance metrics.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
    • 3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling software products or services to HR professionals.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
    • Strong understanding of human resources processes and challenges, with previous experience in HCM software sales preferred.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business success and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on teamwork and achieving common goals.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
