My client is a leading renewable energy company dedicated to promoting sustainable solutions and driving the transition towards a cleaner, greener future. With a focus on solar energy, my client is committed to delivering innovative projects that meet the energy needs of communities while reducing environmental impact.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy and possess a strong background in project management/development, with a specific focus on solar energy projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of solar energy projects from conception to construction, including site identification, permitting, interconnection, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate project viability and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors to ensure project designs meet technical requirements and quality standards.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in project development processes.
• Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector with a focus on solar energy projects.
• Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
