Patrin Pharma, Inc is a smaller pharmaceutical company that is growing and introducing multiple new products in 2024. Senior leaders at the company have much broader scope than at larger companies and participate in strategy and decision making in many areas.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Pricing and Contracts Manager at PATRIN PHARMA, INC. in Chicago, IL. The Senior Pricing and Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing pricing strategies for the company's products, negotiating contracts with clients and partners, analyzing market trends and competition, and providing recommendations to senior management. Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Market and Sales Monitoring and Analysis
Monitor competition, sales trends, market share, utilization, price competitiveness and supply issues.
Review direct sales & chargeback data to assess product pull through.
Track contracts to monitor volumes against expected volumes, monitor contract lifecycle and performance.
Customer Communication
Build and manage relationships with pharmaceutical distributors, GPOs and other purchasing partners.
Communicate regularly with purchasing partners to be in tune with the market changes.
Learn all pertinent information regarding customer accounts i.e Agreements, Customer Classes of Trade, Rebates, Fees, Penalties, Buying Patterns, etc.
Product Pricing
Monitor wholesale and contract pricing, identify, and recommend adjustments for review and approval.
Respond to customer RFPs analyze financial impact and recommend bid for approval, submit bid, follow-up.
Assist with new product launches pricing analysis, communication readiness and execution.
Maintain Master Pricing for products and implement price changes are approved by management.
Contract Administration
Ensure pricing and rebates accuracy and maintain pricing and rebate files.
Analyze fee invoices for accuracy and reconcile with internal records.
Review and understand contract terms and conditions. Maintain contract files. Assist Director with changes.
Ensure execution of contractual obligations as per the agreed upon terms and conditions.
