- Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with a wide variety of providers, tribes, community-based organizations, and partners
- Manage the Secondary School Transition Program for DVR customers who are completing their secondary education
- Coordinate with the State-Wide Transition Manager, develop and implement a regional plan for delivering transition services
- Maintain and manage a close working relationship with the DVR Supported Employment Manager.
- Initiate and maintain collaborative agreements with County Developmental Disabilities and behavioral health organizations and other programs that provide extended services
- Lead service delivery coordination activities to ensure effective relationships are maintained between DVR staff and key service providers
- Lead implementation of the Assistive Technology Program
- Assist and support in the development and implementation of the region's emergency preparedness plan lead disaster recovery activities and oversee all facilities-related issues to assure effective operations.
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating work, personnel and disciplinary matters, completion of misconduct fact-findings and investigations, resolution, including oral and written reprimands, background administrative review, reasonable accommodation, leave without pay, FMLA, shared leave requests, Exception to Rule (ETR) requests, overtime requests and constituent complaint response and resolution and providing information and data to management.
- Knowledge of the federal Rehabilitation Act, including requirements for the provision of Pre Employment Transition Services and Supported Employment Services
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills and ability to represent DVR professionally, internally, and externally
- Ability to develop comprehensive, clear, and effective written agreements

- Understanding of programs, principles, regulations, and statutes related to vocational rehabilitation and competitive integrated employment
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data from multiple systems and make thoughtful recommendations that result in positive program changes

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is seeking a great communicator, collaborator, and team builder for an executive-level opportunity. You will get to manage and implement several DVR programs and manage multiple cooperative agreements and collaborative relationships with other service providers within the region.
DVR provides individualized vocational rehabilitation counseling and employment services and support to students, youth, and adults with disabilities who want to work but face substantial barriers to finding meaningful and sustained employment.

A professional with a master's degree in vocational rehabilitation or other closely allied field and three years of management experience in vocational rehabilitation
OR
