- Develop and deliver comprehensive training and presentations on Adult Protective Services (APS) to supervisors and investigative staff
- Offer informational training to APS investigators, focusing on access to protective services and making referrals to multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and community resource groups within the region
- Undertake Quality Assurance responsibilities by reviewing APS investigations and offer feedback
- Collaborate with other Social and Health Program Consultants 4 (SHCP4s) to facilitate performance improvement plans and training
- Manage assigned programs as well as special projects

Adult Protective Services (APS) is seeking their next teammate to join them in Region 2 This role is pivotal to providing consultative support and clear interpretations to APS staff.
In this role, you'll need to bring your expertise in policy to address staff training needs in a variety of settings such as in the field, virtually, and in the classroom.
You will actively participate as a team member in the Investigation Review Team (IRT) and serve as a subject matter expert in specialized areas (such as contracts, interpreter services, on-boarding, after-event reviews, and public disclosure) for which you will assume primary oversight.
This role is mainly performed by telework and there may be some flexibility in terms of primary duty station within Region 2.
This is an opportunity to support the most vulnerable population in Washington State in living lives that are free of harm while respecting their individual choices.
Some of what you'll do:
What we're looking for:
Professionals with two years of experience as a Social and Health Program Consultant SSS3/4/5, or equivalent
OR
A master's degree in social work, a health or social science, public administration or a related field, or a Juris Doctorate and four years of professional experience in planning, administration, developing, or delivering social, financial, health, or chemical dependency treatment service programs
OR
A bachelor's degree in social work, a health or social science, public administration or a related field, or a Juris Doctorate AND five years of professional experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social, financial, health, or chemical dependency treatment services programs
