    Goettl is seeking a full-time, seasoned Affiliate Marketing Manager to join our growth marketing team.

    As the Affiliate Marketing Manager at Goettl, you will be responsible for driving, growing, and managing all affiliate lead generation, brand awareness, and partnership improvements across our branches and platforms.

    This role is only for those who thrive on getting in the weeds with projects and building and executing strategies for immediate and long-term success.

    We are a lead gen team so the importance of being able to capture top market share % within the affiliate tactics and find new creative ways to build measurably profitable relationships with third parties from lead aggregators, PFP partners, influencers, publications, and more is imperative to Goettl's success.

    The Affiliate Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all affiliate strategies, initiatives, tactics, benchmarking, road-mapping, reporting, presenting, and cross departmental activities.

    Working with the Director of Growth, the Affiliate Marketing Manager will use data analysis, process and performance audits, relationship building, account management, contract negotiation, geo marketing strategies and much more to directly impact our branch performances by driving high intent low-cost leads and creating a scalable and nimble affiliate program to bolster Goettl's overall marketing efforts.

    Daily responsibilities include actively monitoring, auditing, analyzing, and optimizing affiliate partner performance and building and executing the strategic roadmap for affiliate lead gen evolution.

    This includes maximizing current partner opportunities, identifying new partners, thinking of news ways to leverage affiliates, building lasting profitable relationships, and working with the internal Goettl to maximize each leads efficiency.

    This position requires a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality that embraces the challenge of solving large problems and knows how to systematically break them down into executable steps.

    Precision is essential, as you'll need to delve deeply into data analysis, craft narratives portraying branch performance, scrutinize relevant variables, and propose effective strategies and tactics for how to outmaneuver the competition in a highly competitive space.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Partnership Strategy:

    Develop and refine a comprehensive affiliate strategy to increase lead volume while improving on CVR of the affiliate leads.


    Contract Negotiation:

    Audit and oversee contract negotiations for current and new affiliate partnerships with an emphasis on getting us the best leads at the lowest cost.


    Affiliate Outreach:
    Identify, research, and reach out to new potential affiliate partnership opportunities.

    Budget Management:

    Track and manage the annual and monthly budgets for all affiliate partners ensuring any over or under pacing is communicated across the marketing team and branch.


    Analytics and Reporting:

    Utilize analytics tools to monitor affiliate performance, track key metrics, and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of affiliate strategies.


    Competitor Analysis:

    Stay abreast of industry trends and conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and areas for improvement in the affiliate strategy.


    Local Affiliate:
    Develop and execute strategies to enhance local search affiliate relationships with prominent influencers, bloggers, or local talent.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with the marketing team to balance lead gen efforts with budget and branch capacities.


    • Create executive reports to communicate project improvements, forecasts, timelines, upcoming initiatives, current performance, market conditions and business impact.
    • Manage and write award submissions for partners such as BBB, Inc Top 5000, etc.
    • Generate bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytics reports and other reports as needed on an ad hoc basis.
    Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or comparable field. Masters a plus.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask on multiple simultaneous projects.
    • Strategic thinker who comes to the table with solutions, not problems.
    • Capable of working independently while also leading within a team environment.
    • 5+ years of experience managing large affiliate accounts or brands.
    • Advanced Excel/Google skills (i.e., pivot tables, XLOOKUPS, If/Then).
    • Experience working in any affiliate software a plus (Katalys, Impact, Angi, Yelp, BBB)
