WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The primary responsibility of the Manager, Channel Marketing is to assist the team in day-to-day project execution.
This position maintains active communication with their client contacts through ongoing status and client delivery meetings, consistently managing clients' expectations and revisions as well as identifying out-of-scope requests.
The Manager, Channel Marketing consistently documents client communications and status meeting debriefings and delivers them to the internal team to keep them updated and informed.
The Manager, Channel Marketing oversees all client projects through their lifecycles, including scoping proposals and timelines, creating estimates, and managing budgets and work-back schedules.
This role works closely with vendors/contractors assigned to their projects to manage them within scope and budget and ensure that their components support the overarching project.
An effective problem-solver on a day-to-day basis, the Manager, Channel Marketing must be adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities.
WHAT OUR CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER WILL DO ONCE THEY'RE HEREDemonstrates an awareness of core agency service offerings/capabilitiesDemonstrates basic knowledge of program/campaign architectureDemonstrates deep knowledge of project architecture, estimate structures, and workflowEnsures accurate and complete collection of client assetsAssist with all incoming requests for the dealer network while utilizing a customer-service oriented mindsetUses client-facing communication skills to manage relationships with the dealer network on phone, video call, and email channels, while also being able to anticipate their needsMaintains basic knowledge of their clients' industry/segment, consumer profiles, and organizational structureMaintains awareness of clients' competitors and informs team, as applicableFacilitates weekly client-facing status meetingMaintains successful client relationshipsEnsures successful execution of their clients' projects on-quality, on-time, and on-budgetManages the facilitation of projects from estimation through launch and ongoing executionProactively manages and updates project work-back scheduleEnsures that deliverables undergo internal approval process before being presented to client and proofread as necessaryEffectively presents agency work to clientsManages project financials, including vendor quotes and POs, and maintains and monitors project budgets on a daily basis to ensure that the team stays within the agreed-upon budget; informs all parties of any changes to scope/assumptions/issues that ariseEnsures accuracy of client contacts for agencyMaintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core valuesCompletes timesheet on a daily basisOther relevant duties to position as assignedWHAT OUR CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER WILL NEED TO SUCCEED2+ years of account or project management experienceBachelor's degree in marketing or similar fieldMarketing agency experienceDemonstrated knowledge of one or more agency capabilities/offeringsExperience drafting client project proposals and SOWsExperience with researching requirements for project goals and benchmarkingExperience in successfully managing clients through complex projectsExperience in project financial management and analysisDemonstrated ability to provide tactical solutions to client business objectivesExperience developing work breakdown structures, creating timelines, and driving successful execution of milestones: on-quality, on-budget, and on-scheduleExperience collaborating with team members to create detailed project estimates aligned with proposed scopes of workExperience with Workamajig, Workbook, Advantage, NetSuite OpenAir, Clients and Profits or other integrated operations tools a plus
