    Position Overview

    As the Major Gifts Officer, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with individual donors, soliciting donations, and stewarding a portfolio of supporters to maximize contributions towards Robin Hood's mission. You will collaborate with various teams to drive revenue growth and support fundraising programs across the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse group of donors and make a substantial impact on combatting poverty.

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities for the Major Gifts Officer role include:
    • Donor Engagement and Solicitation: Manage a portfolio of major donors, creating tailored strategies for stewardship, cultivation, and solicitation to secure donations. Build strong relationships through personalized communications, events, and face-to-face meetings.
    • Stewardship: Nurture donor relationships through various outreach efforts and tailored communications. Stay informed about Robin Hood's priorities and funding needs.
    • Cultivation: Lead recruitment efforts for donor affinity groups, focusing on acquiring new donors and stewarding existing ones. Collaborate on developing strategies for giving and member engagement.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate donor records, track program metrics, and assess performance to meet fundraising goals.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in fundraising or donor engagement
    • Passion for Robin Hood's mission
    • Proven track record in securing five and six-figure gifts
    • Strong relationship management skills and ability to use data for fundraising strategies
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
    • Experience in volunteer management is a plus

    Salary and Benefits

    This position offers a competitive salary range of $116,184 - $145,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
