- Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals
- Spend 80%-90% of time making sales calls in territory developing new buying accounts and building loyalty through 100% customer satisfaction from existing accounts
- Maintain disciplined daily/weekly activity goals
- Deliver consistent results through a clearly defined sales approach
- Budget and maintain market share targets in conjunction with Regional objectives
- Target competitive accounts to grow customer base and penetrate territory
- Master technical sales and territory management skills; product knowledge, a superior understanding and execution of proper prospecting and sales processes.
- Maintain CRM
- Maintain excellent communications with all fellow associates and customers
- Recognize potential problem areas and take corrective action.
- Proficiency in and ability to explain knowledge of Bearings and/ or Mechanical Power Transmission products (including, but not limited to, gearboxes, motors, motor controls drives, engineered chain)
- Proven experience identifying customer needs, negotiate deals, and close sales efficiently
- Proven customer-centric approach, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and satisfaction
- Ability to work closely with sales teams, engineers, and other departments to achieve common goals
- Ability to present technical information to diverse audiences, including customers and colleagues
- Ability to travel on a regular basis to customer sites within the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel overnight approximately 10% of the time
- Willingness to learn and adapt to market trends
- Proficient and disciplined in productive time management
- Proven sense of urgency and accountability
- Excellent customer relationship building skills.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office programs
- A Strong "team attitude" with the ability to work productively in group settings with other associates, customers, and vendors.
- A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time".
