    **Business Development Representative (BDR) Sales Manager**

    Salt Lake City, UT / Sales & Growth / Full-Time BlueOcean is a different kind of SaaS company.     Our first product is focused on completely changing the way brand tracking and measurement are performed, a mission-critical business process that has yet to be augmented or informed by software The total US TAM is $74 Billion dollars, so it's a huge opportunity and just the first stop on this journey. In order to approach this problem, we have built our always-on brand tracking platform (Brand Navigator), a product that instantly informs brands about what to do today and tomorrow without waiting for an army of consultants or analyst groups to catch up. We already have great customers like Google, Microsoft, Bloomingdale's.

    + Identify, hire, nurture and train up to 6 Business Development Representatives

    + Meet and exceed SQL/SAO targets

    + Train and mentor your team in sales skills and sales technologies

    + Be a cultural lead for BlueOcean in our Salt Lake City office

    + Build out scripts and objection handling and get on calls to coach and guide your team as they source, prospect and interact with BlueOceans future clients

    + Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand pains, and position BlueOcean as a compelling solution

    + Partner with sales management, marketing and product to run plays against our target accounts

    + Maintain and update an accurate log of all activity in BlueOceans sales tech stack and Salesforce

    + Develop plays for email and phone to correspond with leads to follow up and/or to confirm appointments with BlueOcean account executives

    + Provide feedback to others in the department related to information prospects share that could be helpful in advertising/marketing as well as our overall programs

    **Requirements**

    + 3+ years of experience building, training, coaching Business Development or Sales Development Representatives

    + The ability to proactively engage new clients through email and phone

    + A high sense of urgency that can adapt and pivot in every conversation

    + The skills to passionately and clearly articulate the value of BlueOcean

    + A team-player attitude with a desire to improve internal processes beyond your day-to-day tasks

    **Preferred Requirements**

    + SaaS & B2B experience

    + Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo/Seamless, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chorus and similar sales productivity tools/CRMs.

    + Not afraid to get hands dirty

    + Be fun to work with

    **Job Type** Full-time w-2 employment offer includes base salary, benefits, and potential for equity grants.

    **Location** Full time - Salt Lake City

    **Compensation** Competitive package commensurate with experience. This role has potential for equity.
