    Description

    Showroom Sales Coordinator Location: New York Job Description Looking for an individual to function as a sales support and expeditor to our multi line showrooms throughout the country. This position is located in our Soho offices, you will liaise between the various showroom sales teams and our production team, while reporting to our internal Showroom Director. The communication is primarily over email and phone.

    The candidate should have a sales-like savvy and personable demeanor - while performing a majority of administrative duties. Attention to detail is essential as well as thriving in a past faced environment. At the core of this position, is the talent to develop strong relationships with the showroom contacts and, through exemplary service, maximize sales while managing the various details of the day to day.

    Job Requirements Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years working within the home/interiors/furniture/lighting design industry. Communication skills are key as well as attention to detail in a fast paced environment. Quickbooks is a plus.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    Fielding calls/emails and providing timely answers related to order status, customer service issues as well as entering sales orders and sending order confirmations.

    Following up on missing details and logistics of sales orders

    Handling customer service issues in a calm collected manner

    Tracking orders from beginning to completion and managing spreadsheets with complete order status, details, contacts etc.
