    Senior Account Manager - New York, United States - Media

    Description

    The account team at Media.Monks is comprised of people who are champions of great creative, driving strategy and results. Senior Account Managers at Media.Monks are responsible for leading key pieces of business and guiding the execution of work that the agency produces. They provide excellent client service, applying the agency's best resources and effectively collaborating with people across departments to ensure that programs are flawlessly executed on-time and on-budget.

    All Account roles are inherently leadership roles - responsible for inspiring great creative through confident decision-making, positive collaboration, quick problem-solving, and effective communication.

    Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Media.Monks colleagues to deliver integrated solutions from campaign inception through completion. This includes large and medium scale campaigns with video, OOH, event activations, paid social, DIO, and more.
  • Develop strong relationships with both the client team as well as internal counterparts on the Creative, Strategy, and Production teams, and partner agencies active on the business
  • Prepare client presentations with minimal supervision; lead client calls with confidence and maintain the control of the conversation - getting back on track if things derail
  • Be intimately familiar with the client's brand, product, market conditions and competitors. Immerse yourself in the essential dynamics, strategies, and drivers of your client's business
  • Lead all productions within your area of responsibility; participate in productions and support the Creative and Production teams in any way possible.
  • Lead collaboration on analytics insights and reporting, working with internal Media.Monks and external analytics teams. Lead reporting and analyzing data and preparing reporting presentations.
  • Champion the agency perspective convincingly with clients. Must be persuasive and articulate when communicating work and ideas, and comfortable challenging poor client feedback.
  • Ensure all work is accurate, reflects client comments, meets brand standards and is on strategy
  • Demonstrate passion for the agency, the work and the client's business.
  • Manages Account Coordinator on the business, overseeing their work from brief development through deployment, coaching and inspiring their growth and development by providing consistent feedback, training and growth opportunities
  • Manage client's budget within the agency, supporting Account Director and on reporting.
  • Stay on top of all aspects of a project, always able to explain the status, timing implications and budget implications at each step. Always be two steps ahead on your projects.
  • Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience working at an advertising agency, marketing firm, client side or start up
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department and client relationships
  • Ability to head off potential conflicts and problems before they materialize, and have strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to take assignments readily
  • Desire to maintain and continually improve personal knowledge base
  • Ability to change course of action when appropriate or necessary
  • Superior organization skills and be detail oriented
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Experience supervising direct reports
  • Ability to juggle and lead multiple assignments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a direct liaison between the brand marketers and the agency
  • The ability to work in a collaborative manner with all agency departments and the client
  • Ability to communicate feedback clearly and succinctly, both internally and externally

  • Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.

    Salary Range$95,000—$110,000 USD
