Full-Time Technical Sales Account Manager.
The Technical Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing technical sales
and support for the Personal Care industry. This position will promote sales and
generate opportunities by selling to R&I Management and R&D teams. The Sales
Account Manager will have a solutions-based approach to helping solve customer
problems with innovation, formulating aids and other needs.
Based in New Jersey, this role entails conducting both virtual and in-person
meetings with customers, as well as sales team collaboration at the office.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and cultivate new and existing customer accounts
Work with Management to meet sales targets and objectives
Forge effective sales relationships by understanding customers' objectives
and offering technical solutions to their challenges
Seek out new project and market opportunities
Follow up and report on all sales calls and meetings
Prioritize and coordinate support activities with applications lab
Analyze market trends to determine customer needs and develop sales
campaigns
Represent the company at industry and professional activities such as trade
shows and seminars
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field
Candidate with 5+ years of sales experience
Local sales coverage with 25% travel throughout the USA
Ability to ready, analyze, and interpret sales data and product information
Effective technical and commercial presentation skills
Coachability and willingness to adapt to become successful rapidly
