As an Account Manager at Savoy Associates, you will work support our sales teams, building and maintaining relationships with our customers, by assisting in the overall growth of our established and emerging markets


Responsibilities

  • Sales Team Support:_
  • Present and participate in presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Strategize on sales situations and facilitate solutions to complex problems
  • Assist in the overall growth of assigned market
  • Act as the internal expert on all carrier guidelines and procedures
  • Case Installation and

Renewal Submissions:
_

  • Coordinate RFPs; Identify cross sell opportunities; Handle medical underwriting and additional information requests; Become familiar with broker preferences and maintain exceptional partner and carrier relationships
  • Be the expert on all carrier products; Communicate internally and with the broker community regarding new products and system changes
  • Manage carrier submission and installation requirements; Negotiate new business and renewal rates as appropriate
  • Provide weekly status updates to manager and bring attention to any anticipated issues or delays before they escalate
  • Ensure all new cases and renewal changes are entered in VUE timely and accurately; Provide split forms when applicable
  • Service Support_:_
  • Handle account management service requests (corrections, claims, billing, plan changes, etc.)
  • Acquire expected time frames and set the proper expectations with brokers and vendors
  • Educate and train our broker partners on systems and processes; support brokers with client meetings
  • Other projects and assignments as necessary

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
  • 3+ years' experience in group health insurance preferred
  • State health & life insurance producer license is required within either NJ, NY, PA, DE, or FL
  • Demonstrated ability to work at high levels of productivity and quality
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Customer focused attitude and skills to effectively resolve inquiries
