Tier III Desktop Support Specialist, FocusConnect IT

Denver, Colorado

FocusConnect IT, a managed service provider based in Denver, is on the lookout for an organized, responsible, and technically skilled individual with strong collaboration abilities to join us as a full-time Tier III Desktop Support Specialist. In this role, you will be supporting clients in various industries such as government, healthcare, insurance, law, finance, and construction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize intermediate technical skills in environments like Azure, Active Directory, VPN setups
Manage Endpoint solutions like InTune Group Policy, Ninja RMM, EDR/MDR
Handle backup and disaster recovery systems such as Datto BCDR and Acronis BCDR
Assist Tier I and Tier II teammates, manage tickets, and communicate effectively with clients
Demonstrate basic networking knowledge, including Cisco and Fortinet systems
Complete necessary certifications on new platforms to enhance the overall team's skill set
Manage email systems like O365, Exchange, and G-Suite
Deploy new equipment, perform software upgrades, and maintain cloud backup storage

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

High level of technical and organizational skills
Experience with listed tools and processes
Strong team collaboration and communication skills
Analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities

Requirements:

*Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field

*Minimum 8 years of IT industry experience

*Minimum 2 years in a Tier III Support role

*Minimum 4 years in a Tier II Support role

*Minimum 2 years of basic networking experience

*Provide 3 references, including 2 former supervisors

*Pass a technical hands-on exam

Location: Denver metro area, in-office work 4 days a week

Duration: Full-time

Benefits: Full benefits provided

Compensation: $70,000
