    [General] General administration

    Summary of Position:

    Responsible for activities related to maintaining the general materials for the facility and the property of Hyundai Transys Seating System. This position will also support the others in Human Resources as needed and as assigned.

    Corporate:

    • Complies with all HTGSS Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO and Health and Safety ISO policies and procedures
    • Treats all HTGSS team members with respect and professional courtesy
    • Always strives to maintain a positive work environment
    • Manages the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget
    • Performs additional assignments / duties as assigned

    EHS

    • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
    • Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
    • Meets company safety goals

    Technical:

    • Order office supplies as needed and as budgeted, including Business Cards and plaques as needed.
    • Coordinate travel needs and hotel reservations for visitor and team members traveling for business purposes.
    • Make payments and routine purchases. Making routine purchases of the company, purchasing stationery, paper, printer ink, and several other periodic times.
    • In charge of payments for electricity, water, telephone, and other expenses.
    • Maintain and supervise the assets purchased.
    • Preparing periodic reports for budget meetings.
    • Establish relations with external parties, such as local governments, police, and mass organizations.
    • Complete Pre-approval forms for Monthly invoicing.
    • Submit for Purchase approvals.
    • Assist Team member with completion of report of injury form when they have minor injuries. Give completed form to EHS for investigation.
    • Be primary contact for Utilities, Verizon wireless and for leased vehicles for billing. In addition, assist with issues as they arise.
    • Complete Daily Headcount/attendance report by department.
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Ability to work extended hours as needed
    • Ability to travel domestic US and/or international if needed
    • Required to wear PPE as required in each area

    The employee generally works in indoor office and warehouse environments.

    Position Requirements and Qualifications

    • Three (3) or more years of progressive HR work in General Affairs or Team Relations
    • Experience in Organizational Development solutions (Team Building, Process Mapping, Onboarding, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, etc.)
    • Experience at an Automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supplier is helpful
    • Ability to perform basic data analysis, financial calculations, and reasoning analysis
    • College level mathematical skills with understanding of general business applications
    • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs and prioritize activities
    • Ability to work effectively in both strategic and tactical roles
    • Ability to create reports, business correspondence, and procedures
    • Ability to exercise exceptional independent judgment and discretion with the ability to take initiative on assigned tasks without significant supervision
    • Systematic thinking ability and strong liaison and management skills
    • Detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving
    • Resourceful and well organized
    • Experience partnering with HR colleagues to address the needs of differing business units while considering alignment with company objectives
    • Professional knowledge of employment law

    • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of automotive plants and processes/principles, company products, trade terminology, and manufacturing processes is a plus
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Korean is a plus

    Education:

    • Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business Administration degrees preferred.

    Software Skills Required

    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
