Description
Payroll and Benefits Specialist

The payroll and benefit specialist is responsible for all payroll and benefit administration. This position requires knowledge in union payroll administration as well as benefit management.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll

Review payroll before completing to ensure accurate payroll is produced accurately.

Establish and maintain employee records.

Document and respond to employee inquiries.

Process manual checks as needed.

Respond and handle audit requests.

Preparation of reports (P & L, Payroll, Job Tracking, Etc.).

Assist in record keeping.

Resolve administrative problems with employees, vendors, and customers.

General office duties. Perform administrative tasks as directed.

End of year filings


Requirements:

Extensive knowledge in QuickBooks.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and strong Excel skills.

Background in UNION payroll.

Understanding of payroll benefit laws, regulations, and compliance.


Pay:
From $52,000.00 per year
