    Description


    The QTI Group is delighted to partner with Dairyland Electrical Industries to hire its next Director of Business Development and Marketing.

    As a member of the Dairyland Leadership Team and reporting to the Executive Vice President of Operations, you will lead all functions of sales and marketing, ensuring we are intentionally reaching new customers and markets, engaging with partners and customers, sharing our technical expertise and nurturing relationships, and therefore sales.


    Location:
    Dairyland's Stoughton, Wisconsin, headquarters


    Responsibilities:
    Marketing, Business Development and Sales experience as individual contributor and leader.
    Leader/Manager experience of ten years with prior leadership of Sales & Marketing department/team.
    Proven ability to build & lead a unified Sales & Marketing team.
    Proven ability to consistently execute and deliver on plan (time and results).
    Proven ability to lead multiple efforts/projects simultaneously.
    Strategically minded and experienced with execution expertise.
    Proven sales results through team execution, delegation and accountability.
    Oversee and manage the corporate brand, communication, marketing/advertising campaigns, trade show participation, content generation, and corporate website.
    Preferred candidate will have done the above for an organization(s) that does design & engineering as well as manufacturing.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field and combined minimum seven years' experience in marketing and business development (sales).

    Minimum 5 years' experience leading, managing, and developing a marketing and business development team; proven strong leadership skills, and experience.

    Strong knowledge of current marketing and sales techniques and models and passion for both.
    Demonstrated strategic planning experience and capability.
    High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
    Strong proven project management experience with execution and delivery as per plan.
    Strong proven technical aptitude, including technical writing and presentation skills.
