Verbatim Pharma is partnered with a leading clinical trial service provider that specialises in the healthcare logistics space who are seeking a well-connected Directors of Business Development based in the UK.
Our client, a reputable pioneer in the clinical trial logistics space, is going through a notable period of growth in which they are constantly evolving and implementing new services to maintain their market-leading position for clinical trial services and supplies and ultimately strengthen their fiscal development.
They pride themselves on their collaborative culture with everyone willing to help one another whilst maintaining autonomy.For a candidate with a strong hunter mindset, our client is offering an incredibly rewarding environment with anything being possible when it comes to progression.
Main Responsibilities:
Identify and implement strategic goals
Utilise existing pharma, biotech, and CRO network to leverage new opportunities
Recognise and act upon prospective opportunities with existing customers to maximise revenue
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the current market by attending global industry events, such as conferences and tradeshows
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree/MBA
or at least 7 years experience in BD/sales within the healthcare/pharma logistics and/or clinical supply chain industries
Strong pharma, biotech, and CRO network
Hunter mindset , a self-starter
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
surrounding clients
Previous experience or knowledge of utilising Salesforce
Proven capability to network, prospect, influence, and create rapport ultimately leading to effective contract closures
