JOB SUMMARY

  • The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for building relationships with new referral sources and growing existing referral sources by calling on healthcare facilities, physicians' offices, clinics, assisted living facilities and nursing homes to generate sales for private duty, skilled services, and medical staffing.
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for generating new business, which often requires cold calling and frequent travel within your assigned regional territories.
  • Service existing accounts and maintain current client relationships.
  • Meets or exceeds established sales targets; including high volume of weekly facetoface contacts with referral sources, diversified clients across multiple revenue streams, and able to dive deep into key referral relationships.
  • Grow an active customer and lead database in your assigned regional territories and surrounding markets by promoting the company's products and services including private duty, skilled services, and medical staffing.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the company's products, services, pricing, and their value to the potential clients.
  • Maintain all contacts and business activity in the company's CRM system and utilize features including reporting results.
  • Manage social media channels for the office including, but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, location's BrightStar Care websites, etc.
  • Work closely with Regional Director of Operations to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan for your assigned territories in support of overall brand standards.
  • Seek, develop, and participate in marketing opportunities throughout the community like area networking and business chamber groups.
  • Establish sources to provide information or competitive pricing, market activities, transaction usage and other information about your assigned territory.
  • Provide weekly sales summaries and call reports to the Regional Director of Operations and on a timely basis.
  • Provide information as required
- by the Regional Director of Operations to assist in the development of sales plans.

  • Report all customer problems to the Regional Director of Operations as quickly as possible to ensure the problem is resolved in a timely manner. Track the progress of the problem resolution and ensure that it meets the requirements of the client.
  • Continually improve selling skills through participation in training and seminars, supervisory feedback, selfevaluation, and client feedback.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related field preferred or relevant work experience equal to (5) five years or more, acceptable.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ (five plus) years of outside sales experience demonstrating a working knowledge of healthcare in the home or institutional setting, preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and monitor referrals, manage the territory, and understand how to build relationships with new and existing contacts.
  • Ability to solve problems, achieve goals and thrive in a resultsdriven, fast paced team environment.
  • Wants the challenge and competition, willing to take risks with a strong desire to be in the field facetoface with clients and referral sources every day.
  • Experience with public speaking and presentation skills with strong persuasive and educational communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Selfstarter with proven time management skills and attention to detail; comfortable working with little to no direction demonstrating exceptional interpersonal, multitasking and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong closing skills.
  • Commitment to excellence in all tasks and a professional presence.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits and other events.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of healthcare in the home or institutional setting a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Frequent travel is needed for various sales, marketing, and client care service needs.
  • Up to 75% travel between multiple regional locations or as directed based on the needs of the business and attending job required training and conferences.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Visual and hearing acuity required.
