Description
Responsible for assisting the truck lease and rental sales team with generating new business opportunities.As an entry-level sales position, this individual will gain experience in all aspects of the sales cycle with the goal of advancing to a lease or sales representative.
Accountabilities:
- Effectively market truck lease, rental, and service solutions to potential customers.
- Employ various research methods to accurately identify prospective customers who meet the criteria for future opportunities.
- Initiate proactive outbound calls aimed at securing appointments for the sales team.
- Maintain frequent communication with lease and rental sales representatives to ensure timely updates on prospects.
- Travel across sales territory to personally engage with prospective clients.
- Thoroughly document prospecting activities within the CRM system, diligently track progress, and ensure timely followup as required.
- Assist the sales team by aiding in the preparation for customer meetings, which includes crafting impactful presentations, generating quotes, and organizing blitzes.
- Operate company vehicles to facilitate equipment movement between company locations.
- Assist in the deployment of lease and rental truck units into active service.
- Support in the coordination and hosting of company events.
- Generate reports and maintain accurate record keeping.
- Assist with projects as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
- Possess a sales disposition with a sense of urgency, exceptional business acumen, and strong customer service skills.
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information.
- Competence in utilizing Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a commendable driving record.
- Willingness and ability to obtain CDL.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must be able to climb a latter or into a truck (58 feet)
- Periodic bending, reaching, kneeling.
- Must be able to drive or ride in a vehicle for extended periods of time (2+ hours).
Pay:
$50, $55,000.00 per year
