    Job Summary

    o We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to perform a variety of clinical, administrative, clerical and creative duties in an ambulatory setting.

    Job Description & Responsibilities

    o Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

    o Answers phones and responds to emails.

    o Schedules patient appointments.

    o Obtains and verifies patient insurance authorizations.

    o Greets patients and assists them through check-in and check-out process.

    o Calculates and accepts payments from patients.

    o Conducts ordering, pick-ups and drop-offs for office supplies, equipment, mails, packages, etc.

    o Prepares and cleans treatment rooms for patient examinations.

    o Interviews patients to obtain and document medical history.

    o Measures and records patient vital signs, height and weight utilizing our Electronic Medical Record System (we will provide training on our EMR).

    o Administers medications, collects samples for testing, draws blood, removes sutures, applies and changes wound dressings.

    o Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments.

    o Properly disposes of contaminated supplies.

    o Assists physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materials.

    o Manages the company's social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Yelp.

    o Works with the marketing, creative, and product teams to create high quality, engaging, and creative social media content.

    o Identifies trends, relevant news, influencers, and other opportunities to grow in the social media space.

    o The duties are split among employees at the discretion of the executive management. Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

    Job Qualifications & Skills

    o Education/Licenses/Certifications: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (GED) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Candidates who have successfully completed a Medical Assistant Program and earned related Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree are preferred.

    o Preference will be given to those interested in a long-term employment with our company.

    o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    o Professional appearance.

    o Computer literate (PC and Mac)

    o Experience in creating, editing, and posting curated content (photos and videos) on various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Yelp.

    o Personality, Attitude and Demeanor: ​Passionate about helping patients; professional conduct and work-ethics; team-oriented; energetic; upbeat; outgoing; detail oriented; efficient; empathetic; positive attitude; mature; punctual; responsible; reliable; and motivated to take initiative.
