Job Summary:
Busy upscale pediatric and adult allergy practice at Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers in search of a medical assistant. Must be friendly and welcoming with at least 2 years experience. Must be punctual, reliable, organized, multi-tasker, friendly & a team player.
Preferably with allergy and injection admin experience. Be familiar with cover my meds, prior authorizations and biologics.
As a medical assistant you will provide exceptional and outstanding care to all patients. Your role will be assisting in managing in-clinic patient flow for providers. Duties include taking patient history, assist doctors and others, do e-prescriptions, clean and stock rooms, and ultimately remaining efficient and compliant in our busy practice.
Key responsibilities include:

Answering phone calls (when necessary)

Give injections

Keep supply inventory

Assist with prescription requests/inquiries

Salary $20 minimum, more depending upon experience

Hours are Mon, Wed and Fri 9am to 6pm and Tues and Thurs 9am to 5pm with a 12:30- 1:30 lunch hour
