Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, assisting with patient examinations, and administering medications as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures.
  • Assist with patient checkin and scheduling appointments.
  • Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Proficiency in performing clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and medication administration.
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Knowledge of patient service best practices.

Pay:
From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Work setting:

Experience:


  • EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
  • Vital signs: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Los Angeles, CA preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Los Angeles, CA 90033: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
