    Job DescriptionSalary: $ $25.00/HR DOE

    JR & Co. is looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will help ensure the company receives payments for goods and services in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner, bringing accounting knowledge and expertise to the team. They will have a knowledge of construction forms and payment application processes, organizational skills and work well in a high pressure environment with the support of the Accounting Team.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Call delinquent customers, determine reason for non-payment, resolve problems and conflicts, as necessary.
    • Track open Accounts Receivables and contacting customers to collect payments and update customer accounts via ComputerEase software
    • Accurately record and post all payments received.
    • Track projects for project closeout according to process.
    • Assist with the mailing of monthly accounts receivable statements.
    • Actively work and engage with Service department, generating work order invoicing via the RoofLink, Jobba, and ComputerEase software
    • Work with Estimating and Sales to complete initial project coordination and setup new projects according to established processes.
    • Handle sensitive customer information, keep information confidential.

    Required Skills, Education and Abilities:

    • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
    • 2 years of accounts receivable experience
    • Collection experience (required)
    • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Knowledge of construction forms and payment application processes
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, and spreadsheets
    • Construction/Roofing industry experience a plus
    • ComputerEase, RoofLink, Jobba, Procore, and/or BuilderTrend experience, a plus
    • Accuracy and attention to detail including excellent written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills

    Note: Writing skills test will be required.
