    Description

    The Atlantic Group has partnered with a large investment firm in the Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for a Facilities Coordinator to join their team.

    POSITION: Facilities Coordinator

    HOURS: 7:30am – 4:30/5:30pm (M-F in office)

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Facilities Coordinator will interact with all staff at the firm as well as external vendors. This is a role that requires an individual who is extremely professional, customer service focused, and has excellent verbal/written communication skills. It is important in this role to be organized, have a sense of urgency, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Duties will include, but are not limited to:


    • Conduct daily walkthroughs of the space, identify areas that require repair or maintenance (carpet, lighting, HVAC, etc.).


    • Respond to and prioritize incoming Facilities requests.


    • Maintain the Punch List.


    • Manage inventory of office supplies and ordering.


    • Troubleshoot office equipment errors and coordinate repairs/maintenance (copiers, printers, laminating/binding machines, etc.).


    • Coordinate office repairs and maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.).


    • Build and maintain relationships with regular office vendors, coordinate schedules, and provide vendor escorts.


    • Act as a liaison with building management to coordinate and schedule work orders/service requests for HVAC, lighting, basic maintenance, plumbing, lighting, and cleaning.


    • Track and maintain vendor COI's; submit insurance to building management.


    • Track and coordinate offsite document storage.


    • Maintain organization of common spaces and storage areas.


    • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS


    • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a corporate office environment.


    • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.


    • Ability to make minor repairs in the facility as needed.


    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software.


    • Possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating with employees at all levels of the Firm.


    • Self-starter and resourceful team player.


    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
