    Role Summary

    Responsible for all aspects of managing and developing strategic relationships with

    Commercial & Professional Foodservice Distributor partners.

    Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    + Achieve annual sales and profit goals

    + Manage Distributor relationships at senior levels and develop/execute new business opportunities

    + Regularly engage with Distributor Sales Reps and monitor overall performance to ensure C&D remains supplier of choice

    + Utilize end user insights to generate opportunities and close new business

    + Maintain an active pipeline to meet sales targets

    + Identify market needs and proposes new products

    + Conduct contract negotiations with customers

    + Develop and provide in person and virtual customer training sessions

    + Create and track all customer promotions

    + Maintain the C&P customer database through timely and accurate updates

    + Attend trade shows as needed

    + Travel up to 60%

    Education and Experience

    + BS in Marketing or related field from an accredited academic institution.

    + 7+ years of sales experience in the Foodservice and/or B2B Industry

    + Must possess strong knowledge of distribution/re-distribution model

    Skills and Competencies

    + Strong sales skills in value-added selling and branded products

    + Ability to balance sales and profitability

    + Experience working with a standard Customer Relationship Management program

    + Excellent selling skills in one-on-one, as well, as group settings

    + Computer literate and working knowledge of MS Office.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    + Self-motivated and takes ownership of assigned projects

    + Works well independently and as part of a team

    + Embraces change and technology

    + Negotiating skills/deal structure development
