    Overview of the Job Function:


    The Public Sector Account Manager will be responsible for helping to develop existing State, City, and local agencies by expanding existing relationships and identifying business challenges and identify Verint solutions that can be positioned to resolve those business challenges and then work with their Account Executive to position those solutions to the agency.

    The Account Manager will also support the Associate Account Executive to help in qualify net-new opportunities for government solutions within the State & Local Government Business.

    The successful candidate will possess a strong need to win and be able to demonstrate that s/he is responsive, adaptable, and 100% results- and ownership-oriented.


    Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
    Upsell new business in the existing channel.

    Identify new channel revenue opportunities.

    Identify and develop new contacts within owned accounts.

    Support Account Executive and Associate Account Executive with quoting and managing opportunities.

    Work in tandem with Account Executive, Associate Account Executive and Channel Sales Team to identify and manage upsell opportunities.


    Minimum Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience


    Minimum of 3 years of quota carrying outside sales or account management experience with sales to contacts at the director-level or above.

    Experience selling CCaaS Platforms or Enterprise Software

    Experience selling into Public Sector (State and Local government, DoD, Federal) accounts.

    Significant experience with face-to-face presentations to executive level decision makers

    Show consistent success with a maintaining and building client relationships within an enterprise account base.

    Experience creating and developing long-term client relationships.

    Evidence of high performance, entrepreneurial spirit, and team player

    Willingness to travel up to 25% in sales territory and attend trade shows.

    The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel.

    Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations


    Preferred Requirements:
    Experience selling to retail, financial services, hospitality, telco, government and B2B industries.

    Exceeding quotas of one million or more in individual annual sales revenues with a high transactional sales model
